Litigation Attorney (Temporary/Project-Based)

Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Hours Available
Compensation: DOE (Depending on Experience)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to provide project-based support due to a significant influx of cases. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible hours and meaningful legal work focused on litigation support, legal research, and legal writing.

This role is ideal for an attorney between positions, a solo practitioner looking to supplement their practice, or an attorney seeking flexible remote work while maintaining a strong litigation caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Assist with case strategy and litigation support
  • Review case materials and provide legal recommendations
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams on overflow work
  • Ensure work product is completed accurately and within deadlines

Qualifications

  • Active Bar license in good standing (Wisconsin preferred, however there are different locations)
  • Minimum of 1 year of insurance defense experience required
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prior civil litigation experience preferred
